Mackenzie loves Halloween! From houses with amazing decorations, fireworks, and many Halloween themed events around town, if you are into spooky season – Mackenzie is the place for you.

Halloween NI Day at the Rec Center

On October 25th, from 10am to 2 pm, join us at the Mackenzie Recreation Centre for some spooky fun!

Pumpkin painting, Halloween movie, spooky Halloween games, and kid friendly spooky stories!

Haunted Maze

MCAC presents The Haunted Maze 2024: Back from the Dead

This year’s Haunted Maze is happening at their new location: 9 Laurier Drive, Mackenzie.

Friday October 25th and Saturday October 26th, 2024

5-6PM: Lights on
7-9PM: Lights off

$5 per adult, $3 per child/senior, $13 for a family of 5

Pumpkin Walk

Join us for our second Pumpkin Walk on October 31 from 4pm – 6pm at 400 Skeena Drive – in the roundabout!

Bring your pumpkins, lanterns, blankets, and candy! Chairs and tables will be provided.

*This event is for anyone who lives in an apartment or out at Gantahaz and would still like to hand out candy and see all the wonderful costumes.

We invite all trick or treaters to come by and get some treats!

Fireworks

The Mackenzie Fire Department will be putting on a fireworks display beginning at approximately 7pm on Halloween night, October 31st. The fireworks will be set off from behind the recreation centre. View from the Rec Centre/MSS parking lot or the Mackenzie Mall parking lot.
