Daily Shuttle Service

Kimta offers a daily shuttle service between Mackenzie and Prince George

  • Cost: $35-55 depending on location.
  • Service to McLeod Lake, Bear Lake, and Summit Lake available
  • Operated with exceptional reliability and care.

Community Bus Rentals

Kimta will rent the community bus for your transportation needs.

  • 24 Seat AWD Bus: Equipped with a wheelchair lift and tie-downs for up to 4 wheelchairs

  • Volunteer Drivers: A network of dedicated volunteers help keep rental costs down for community groups.

Need A Ride to PG?

The Kimta seven (7) seat shuttle (6 passengers) travels between Mackenzie and Prince George.

This shuttle travels Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays. KIMTA stops at McLeod Lake, Bear Lake, and Summit Lake if there are passengers to pick up.

The shuttle does NOT run on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Pick up at From the Mackenzie Recreation Center at 7 am.

Drop off locations are Save on Foods at the Pine Centre Mall, Prince George Hospital, and Prince George Airport.

Pick up in Prince George:

  • 1:30pm – Save on Foods at the Pine Centre Mall
  • 1:45pm – Prince George Hospital – Main Entrance
  • 2:15pm – Prince George Airport

Drop off upon arrival to Mackenzie is at the Recreation Centre.

$35 each way. $55 to the Prince George airport.

Any minors under 16 years old, will need guardian consent to travel if they are travelling on their own.
