Learn to Belay Course

Recreation Services will be holding another Learn to Belay Course on Saturday, May 24 from 1:00pm-3:30pm and the cost is $40.
This 2.5 hour course is designed to give you the skills you need to get started with top-rope climbing indoors. Participants will learn about the equipment, knots, communication protocols, and safety techniques with our experienced instructors and get you climbing on your own!
*Must be 13 years of age or older.
There are only 4 spots available so make sure you contact Recreation Services at 250-997-5283 or recoffice@districtofmackenzie.ca to register!
We will also have an hour time slot set aside on Saturday, May 31 from 12:30pm-1:30pm for the participants of the learn to belay course to then take their test!
