ANNOUNCING a new service to Mackenzie!

MACK TAX PREP will be taking clients starting March 3rd, 2025.

Mack Tax Prep does T1 returns only, including Business Income or Rental Income; no T2’s for limited companies or partnerships at this time.

About Mack Tax Prep

Mack Tax Prep is run by Wendy Chambers.

Wendy is certified with CRA and has a current clear Police Records Check.

Issuers of T slips have until Feb 28th to send everything out, however that being said, she does have the ability to check online for your slips so don’t let that hold you back!

She also has the capability to go back and do prior years returns as well. She is here to help and wants to offer Mackenzie another option for tax prep.

Wendy doesn’t have a store front so she will be meeting people at The Purple Bike for the initial interview and to exchange paperwork. Enjoy a coffee or a tea while you chat!

Because she is part of CVITP (Community Volunteer Income Tax Program), she has a current Police Records Check and has been vetted by CRA. She has run the free program for the last 2 years here in Mackenzie and this will be her 3rd year.

Wendy is starting Mack Tax Prep because she sees a gap that she can fill; Wendy will offer a choice for tax prep to those folks that don’t fit the criteria for free program, (i.e. an option to current services available in town or going into PG). Mack Tax Prep is a separate entity from CVITP and will be run separately of course.

Wendy started out in taxes in 2009 and did a couple seasons working for H&R Block and in 2012/13, while she was Executive Secretary for the Friendship Centre in Vernon, she joined CVITP and did returns for the People.

She then worked 5 or 6 tax seasons for an accounting firm in Vernon and in 2020, she started with CVITP again.

Wendy also has Bookkeeping & Accounting certificates from community college. She is licensed with DOM and registered with both Federal and Provincial governments.
