Support Payton’s Family
On Saturday nights, of the Victoria Day weekend, tragedy stuck. 16 year old Payton was in a horrific motorcycle accident that left her unconscious and alone in a ditch for over nine hours. She was finally discovered by her father, barely clinging to life.
Payton was rushed to the Children’s Hospital where she remains in a medically induced coma. She is surrounded by a team of specialists and loved ones.
One of the amazing things about the community of Mackenzie is the support from the community.
With support from the family, we have dedicated this page to all the fundraising efforts that have been set up in our community.
Go Fund Me
A Go Fund Me has been set up to help with medical expenses and recovery.
They are raising funds to support:
• Ongoing medical care and hospital stays
• Post-surgery rehabilitation and physiotherapy
• Travel and accommodation costs for her family while she remains hospitalized
• Emotional and psychological recovery for both Payton and her loved ones
The family is also providing updates to Payton’s condition on the Go Fund Me.

Zumba with Emmy
On Wednesday May 28, 2025, Emmy will be doing a special Zumba class.
The cost of this class will be $12 with $5 going towards Payton’s Family.
When: Wed May 28 5:30-6:30pm

Spa Fundraiser
On Sunday, May 25, visit to Amber’s spa to get an eye brow or eye lash tint for $10. All money raised will go to family.

SKreations will be offering a limited number of “Prayers for Payton” t shirts. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Payton’s family to cover medical and travel expenses.
