Award ceremony barbeque (all ages) runs from 5:30pm to 7:00pm
After party dance with live music (19+ only) runs from 7:00pm to 1:00am
The Morfee Lake Scramble takes place at Second Beach.
Parking is available during the race in the upper parking lot only, and we provide a free shuttle bus around town from 5:30pm till everyone has evacuated the beach.
Join us for the Morfee Lake Scramble on Saturday 17 August 2024! This annual event will unfold at Second Beach, on Morfee Lake, offering participants a chance to revel in the breathtaking scenery while embarking on an exciting scramble. This is a 15km trail with a short walk option of 8km, which includes a canoe shuttle across the narrows of Morfee Lake.
The Morfee Lake Scramble caters to adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts, providing the perfect opportunity to challenge your skills and create lasting memories. Whether you’re a seasoned scrambler or a newcomer, this event ensures an unforgettable experience that promotes both physical activity and mental well-being. Additionally, it’s a fantastic opportunity for a fun bike, run, or walk with family or friends, making it a day to remember for all.
Cap off the day with a joyous evening celebration on Second Beach of Morfee Lake, featuring an award ceremony and a complimentary barbecue for all race participants. As the sun sets, consider joining the optional 19+ afterparty on the shores of Second Beach, where live music and performances will infuse the atmosphere with energy, creating a stylish and vibrant conclusion to the day. This optional afterparty is an ideal setting for participants to unwind, share stories, and revel in their accomplishments amidst the stunning backdrop of Morfee Lake.
